Christopher Lawrence

Christopher Lawrence is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in political science, currently serving as a Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Middle Georgia State University since August 2012. Christopher's responsibilities include teaching, advising students, conducting research, and engaging in committee work to enhance university governance. Prior roles include Associate Professor, Assistant Chair, and Assistant Professor with tenure, along with visiting positions at Virginia Tech, Texas A&M International University, Tulane University, Saint Louis University, Duke University, and Millsaps College. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and a BA from the University of Memphis. Additionally, Christopher has contributed to the software development community since January 1995 at Debian.
