Mitch DeBlois has extensive work experience as the President of two companies. Mitch started working at DeBlois Electric in 1988, where they provided electrical service to residential, commercial, and industrial markets in Maine. Mitch believes in building lasting relationships and working cooperatively with all project parties. In 1993, they also became the President of Lighting Concepts, a lighting retailer specializing in lighting design and consultation. At Lighting Concepts, they oversaw a two-story showroom with interactive lighting displays and conference space. Mitch also ensured that the staff received training through the American Lighting Associate and expanded the company's product line through a virtual showroom and store.

From 1982 to 1987, Mitch DeBlois attended Northeastern University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
