Neill Kim

Neill Kim is a highly skilled Program Manager at Debut since November 2020, having previously held roles as Team Lead, Cell-Free, Scientist II, and Scientist I. Prior to this position, Neill served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at Texas from August 2015 to November 2020, contributing to the elucidation of tropane alkaloid biosynthesis through metabolic engineering and developing enzymatic assays using self-created LC/MS/MS methods. Additionally, Neill has experience in metabolically engineering microorganisms and purifying various enzymes, as well as teaching the laboratory sections of General Chemistry courses to over 150 students during tenure as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Neill holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University, completed in 2020 and 2015, respectively.
