Priyanka Singh

Priyanka Singh is an experienced fermentation scientist with a strong background in biofuels and bioproducts research. Currently serving as a Fermentation Scientist II at Debut since July 2023, Priyanka previously worked as a Fermentation Engineer I at Genomatica and pursued a PhD at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on maximizing yields from lignocellulosic biomass. With research internships at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and Berkeley Lab, Priyanka has developed expertise in biological lignin depolymerization, fermentation process scale-up, and optimization of catalytic methods for renewable energy production. Education at the University of California, Riverside, coupled with various research roles, has equipped Priyanka with a comprehensive skill set in environmental technology and biomass analytics.
