Venus Soriano-Felgenhauer, PHR CBP CPSP has a diverse background in human resources, with over 15 years of experience. Venus has held various leadership roles in both public and private sectors.

Venus'smost recent position was as Head of Human Resources at Debut, where they oversaw the HR function and provided strategic direction for the organization. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Human Resources Analyst at the City of Santee, where they were responsible for managing HR programs and policies.

Venus also has experience in the retail industry, having worked at Event Network, LLC as a Benefits Manager and later as a Human Resources Partner. In these roles, they focused on optimizing the guest experience and providing HR support to the organization.

Before that, Venus worked at Total People Management as a Senior People Partner, where they partnered with leadership teams to address various HR challenges. Venus also served as a Senior Departmental Human Resources Officer at the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, overseeing HR programs and ensuring compliance with laws and best practices.

Earlier in their career, Venus worked at Havas Formula as a Human Resources Manager, where they managed HR operations for the San Diego office. Venus also worked at BASF as a Human Resources Partner, responsible for HR operations at the San Diego site.

Venus started their career at the Port of SD, serving as an Executive Assistant/HR Assistant.

Venus Soriano-Felgenhauer, PHR CBP CPSP, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from California State University San Marcos. In addition, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In January 2014, they earned the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI. In February 2015, they obtained the Certified Benefits Professional certification from WorldatWork. Most recently, in January 2023, they achieved the Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) certification from the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
