Sean J. Thompson

Sean J. Thompson has a strong background in revenue cycle operations and financial analysis. Sean J. is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer at DECA Dental Group. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations at Medac from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management at NorthStar Anesthesia, P.A. and also served as the Director of Revenue Cycle Management during part of that time. Before that, Sean worked as the Managing Director at Tranche Health, where they provided healthcare revenue cycle assessments for private equity firms and healthcare organizations. Sean J. also held various roles at Schumacher Clinical Partners, including Director of Revenue Cycle Analytics, Senior Revenue Cycle Associate, and Senior Financial Analyst. In addition, Sean has experience as the Founder/Analyst of their own financial consulting firm, as President of a healthcare technology startup, and as an intern at Merrill Lynch, Becker Professional Review, and UBS Wealth Management.

Sean J. Thompson completed their education in finance, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Nova Southeastern University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Bryant University for a year from 2003 to 2004, focusing on finance. Sean further pursued their education by obtaining an MBA in Finance from Nova Southeastern University from 2007 to 2009.
