Emily Pearce is a seasoned professional in the wine industry, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Coterie 72, a premium wine club launched in February 2021. Additionally, Emily founded and presides over Femmes du Vin, a not-for-profit organization established in 2016 to support women in the wine sector. With extensive experience as a sommelier, Emily holds positions at The York Club and Barbarians Steakhouse, and has previously contributed to the development of brand identity and staff education at DaCapo Wines. Emily has also been a writer for Decanter since 2011 and contributed to Sotheby's Wine Encyclopedia until 2022. Emily's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University, earned between 1999 and 2005.
