Stephen Hobley

Stephen Hobley has over four decades of professional experience, currently serving as the Business Manager at Decanter since April 1984. In this role, Stephen specializes in promoting various offerings, including conferences, events, and advertising, particularly focusing on fostering relationships with Italian and South American wine producers and institutional clients. Prior to Decanter, Stephen worked as an English Language Teacher at FIAT IVECO from 1982 to 1983. Stephen holds a 2nd Class BA Hons and a PGCE in History and Education from University College, Oxford, where studies were completed from 1975 to 1979, and attended Uppingham.
