Adrienne Burden Rhia

Adrienne Burden RHIA, CCS is a Certified Medical Coder with extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient coding across various healthcare organizations. Currently employed at Advocate Aurora Health since June 2023, Adrienne has also held positions at Decatur County Memorial Hospital from April 2015 to present, coding a wide range of outpatient records, while coding emergency room records on an as-needed basis since January 2016. Prior professional experience includes inpatient coding at Community Health Network (January 2022 - May 2023) and Columbus Regional Health (March 2017 - January 2022), as well as roles at Schneck Medical Center and Centerstone, where Adrienne managed HIM department operations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from Western Governors University and an Associate’s Degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Vincennes University. Adrienne also holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Harrison College-Columbus.
