Dr. Kuntal Das is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the agricultural sector. Currently serving as the Global Head of R&D and Innovation and Business Development Lead Southeast Asia at DECCO Postharvest since October 2022, Dr. Das has previously contributed to the International Rice Research Institute as a Senior Specialist in Seed System & Product Management. With a strong background in fungicide development at UPL and Syngenta, Dr. Das has also led disease resistance projects and breeding initiatives within the field of plant pathology. The academic journey includes a Ph.D. from the International Rice Research Institute and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management, enhancing proficiency in agricultural innovation and collaboration in crop research.
