Shengyang Jin

Dr. Shengyang Jin is an Analyst at Decheng Capital and has been with the firm since May 2022.

Prior to Decheng, Dr. Jin was an Investment Analyst at Gold Nest Capital in Singapore, where he focused on life science venture investment opportunities in Europe and Southeast Asia. He also worked on post-investment business development for portfolio companies and participated in fundraising. Dr. Jin received his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His thesis focused on structural biology investigations of macromolecular complexes with X-ray crystallography and Cryo-electron microscopy. He earned B.S. in Biology from the same institute with First Class Honours. He was also a CN Yang Scholar at the university. Dr. Jin has published several research papers in high-impact journals such as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA.
