Dean Collins

Dean Collins is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment funds. Currently serving as the Managing Partner of the Singapore office at Dechert LLP since its establishment in 2014, Collins and the team handle diverse private investment fund work across multiple asset classes. Prior to Dechert, Collins was a partner at O'Melveny & Myers, where the firm consistently received a Band 1 ranking for investment fund work in Singapore. Collins also held director and senior counsel roles at Actis, focusing on fundraising, investor relations, and legal matters during its spin-out from CDC. Earlier career experience includes independent consultancy work and a role as an assistant solicitor at S J Berwin, specializing in corporate finance. Dean Collins holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge and completed the Law Society Finals at the College of Law.
