Christopher Doherty

Christopher Doherty serves as the Vice President of Global Operations at Dechra since September 2024, and also works as an Executive Consultant on a freelance basis since July 2023. From January 2018 to September 2023, Christopher held the position of Director of Global Operations and Director of Global Operations Strategy at Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing multiple functions including Global Operations, Operations Strategy, Business Transformation, and Project Management, while managing four manufacturing sites. Prior experience includes leading Vascutek’s Strategic Growth Programme as Head of Program Management from September 2014 to December 2017, and serving as Director of Operations and Business Development at Ocutec from August 2010 to August 2014, where operational responsibilities were directly reported to the board. Christopher holds degrees in Polymer/Plastics Engineering and an HNC in Engineering from the University of the West of Scotland.
