Dan Nguyen-Huu

Dan is a partner at Decibel where he focuses on helping founders build the next-generation of cloud, infrastructure, security and SaaS enterprises. Prior to joining Decibel, he was a Vice President at Battery Ventures where he helped lead investments in devops, security and AI. His investments included Databricks, SumoLogic, Contrast Security, InfluxData, Expel, Ordr, Machinify, Paperspace and Woven. Earlier in his career, Dan worked at VMware in the strategy and corporate development team and previously spent time at UBS in the investment banking division as part of the technology group.

Dan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and is an avid fan of his hometown football club FC Bayern Munich. In 2019, Dan made the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Venture Capital. Follow him on Twitter @dannguyenhuu.
