Maria Cook

Maria Cook has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and music publishing. Maria began their career in 2000 as a Senior Music Editor, International Client Manager, and Music Editor and Engraver at Compozitor Music Publishing House. In 2004, they took on the role of Adjunct Professor at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. In 2008, they began freelancing as a Music Editor and Engraver. In 2011, they took on the role of Web Development Intern at WaPo Labs. In 2012, they became a User Interface Engineer at Trove News (formerly WaPo Labs). In 2015, they joined SocialCode as a Staff Software Engineer and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer. In 2020, they joined Decile as a Staff Software Engineer.

Maria Cook obtained a Master's degree in Music Composition from the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov between 1998 and 2005.
