Caroline Hartmann

Caroline Hartmann is currently an advisor at Decipher Credit. Caroline was previously an assistant professor of accounting at Texas A&M University-Commerce from August 2014 to August 2020. From June 2011 to July 2014, they were an instructor of accounting at the same school. Prior to that, they were a professor of accounting and finance at Universidad San Francisco de Quito from January 2002 to December 2010. Her professional experience also includes working as a senior officer in internal audit at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from January 1999 to December 2001 and as chief financial officer at Oxford University Club from January 2009 to December 2011. Caroline started their career as a senior auditor at Deloitte & Touche Assurance Services from January 1998 to December 1999 and then Arthur Andersen & Co. from January 1996 to December 1998.

Caroline Hartmann began their educational career at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing. Caroline continued their education at American University, earning a Master of Science in Accounting. Finally, they earned a Doctorate of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business. Caroline is also certified as a CPA in both Maryland and Texas.
