Luan Lin

Luan Lin is a highly experienced biostatistician currently serving as the Director of Biostatistics at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals since September 2024. Previously, Luan held the position of Associate Director of Biostatistics at Biogen, where significant contributions were made to the FDA approval of QALSODY (tofersen) for treating amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Earlier roles included Senior Principal Biostatistician and Principal Biostatistician at Battelle, where Luan supported biostatistics for clinical trials assessing developmental drugs' effectiveness against chemical threats. Experience also includes a tenure as a statistical contributor at the FDA and as a Senior Scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Luan holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China.
