Nate Finch

Nate Finch is currently a Senior Developer at DecisionWise. Prior to this, they worked as a software developer at General Motors from June 2018 to June 2021, where they migrated a legacy Struts application to Spring MVC, converted and optimized existing functionality across all server and client layers, and containerized an outdated monolith application. Nate also spawned two applications from proof-of-concept, migrating a C/Telnet application to a progressive web app and converting a Portuguese Visual Basic fat client to a Reactive client leveraging a RESTful back end.

Before their work at General Motors, Nate Finch worked at GoDaddy from November 2010 to July 2015 as part of their social media support team. In this role, they served on the Governance Board as a liaison to the front end development team regarding Facebook for Business platform integration, monitored service-related trends for GoDaddy products, and collaborated with executives and brand teams to generate strategy and responses. Nate Finch consistently led their team in engagement metrics and assisted in administering GoDaddy's social software platform. Nate also created and maintained various technical documents, including workflow and policy documentation.

Nate Finch has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. Nate is certified in CompTIA A (2009 edition) and CompTIA Network (2009 edition).
