Sarah Suciu, PhD, currently serves as an Engagement Leader and Analyst at Decisive since June 2021. Previously, Sarah was a PhD candidate at Emory University from August 2014 to October 2020, where dissertation research focused on the role of the cilia protein Arl13b in axon guidance under the supervision of Tamara Caspary, PhD. Notable achievements include an award for best oral presentation at the Southeast Society for Developmental Biology Regional Meeting in May 2020 and recognition with the inaugural Keith Wilkinson Division Service Award during tenure as President of the Division Student Advisory Council from August 2016 to September 2018. Earlier academic experience includes undergraduate research at Auburn University from May 2012 to May 2014, examining population structure and speciation in aquatic organisms. Sarah holds a PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Emory University and a BS in Microbial, Cell, and Molecular Biology from Auburn University.
