Anuj Sharma

Anuj grew up in a unique way – around monks and a deep spiritual tradition. In fact, when he was 17, he traveled with a monk across the United States for two weeks and spend two summers as a teenager traveling across India.

These experiences left a powerful impact on him. The wisdom he grew up around is a foundational element of much of what he does today. Mindful living, various types of meditations, wisdom, and philosophy are all elements of his personal growth journey. This inspired Anuj to focus his career on human potential/growth, leadership development, and fostering meaningful connection, which he has the privilege to facilitate as a Program Leader at Decker Communications.

Prior to his role at Decker Communications, Anuj served as a leadership development consultant at Bank of America Merrill Lynch working on key people initiatives such as organizational design, performance management, training, and succession/talent planning. He has also consulted for several businesses and organizations within the greater New York City area, ranging from startups to non-profits.

Anuj graduated from Rutgers Business School with a degree in Finance and is certified as a professional coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).

In his free time, Anuj loves playing and watching sports – basketball and the National Basketball Association (NBA) are among his favorite. He loves reading as well whether the topic is personal growth, leadership development, or a fiction title. He is also a musician and loves playing a number of instruments including eastern hand drums and various other percussion instruments. Anuj currently lives in New Jersey with his wife.
