Kerry Balas

Kerry is an experienced sales leader with demonstrated success in influencing senior-level decision-makers and delivering measurable business outcomes. She’s skilled in consultative selling, marketing strategy, presentation development and delivery, and training and facilitation. Her clients and teammates see her as a connector, a direct and passionate communicator, and a strategic, big-picture thinker.

In 2013, Kerry joined Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions team as a Client Partner, serving technology and telecommunications advertising clients. Over 8.5 years, she seized opportunities to move into other roles in sales management, sales training, and most recently, she led a business communications team.

Prior to Facebook, Kerry spent 10 years in advertising sales, working for magazines in San Francisco and NYC. When her first son was a year old in 2004, she chose to take time off from the traditional workplace to be at home full-time with her kids. Eight years later, she returned to work, first with a short stint at an ad tech company, and then on to Facebook.

Kerry has a BA in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She and her husband Eric live in Mill Valley, CA with their two boys, Drew (18) and Ryan (14). Kerry loves people and their stories, and enjoys playing tennis, skiing, hiking, working out, reading, and uncovering new experiences with family and friends.
