Carolyn Sainsbury

Carolyn Sainsbury is a Payroll Specialist for EMEA at Deckers Brands, responsible for managing payrolls across Dutch, Belgian, German, and UK entities since September 2023. Prior to this role, Carolyn served as the HR Administration and Payroll Team Leader at Claire's from May 2014 to September 2023, leading a team of HR Coordinators for 12 EU countries and providing support in payroll, administration, and employee relations. Carolyn has also held the position of Human Resources Coordinator, managing HR and payroll processes for Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands, and supporting Switzerland. Earlier experience includes serving as a Centre Administrator at Age UK and as a Recruitment Consultant at Hays. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in German and Media Studies from the University of East Anglia, along with ongoing CIPD Level 5 qualifications in People Management.
