Sanjay Thomas

Sanjay Thomas is an accomplished data and technology leader with extensive experience in data platforms and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Data Platforms & Engineering at Deckers Brands since November 2018, Sanjay oversees a sophisticated data stack involving Qlik/Fivetran, Redshift, dbt, and Tableau/PowerBI for a $26B S&P 500 company known for its brands such as HOKA and UGG. Prior to this role, Sanjay held various positions at Make A Difference, a non-profit organization, where contributions included serving as Director of Technology and leading multiple impactful projects, including an ERP system and a crowdfunding app. Sanjay's career began as a Software Engineer, with significant achievements in API development and financial reporting solutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology and a Master of Technology Management from UC Santa Barbara.
