Nicole Ricken

Nicole Ricken is a dedicated behavioral therapist and clinical psychology intern currently employed at DECLICC since November 2022, with additional experience at Œuvre de Secours aux Enfants where responsibilities include child protection consulting and providing psychological support in cases of domestic violence and abuse. Ricken's previous roles include intern positions at Institut Gustave Roussy, focusing on therapeutic interventions for children with cancer, and research assistant at the University of Southern California, where Ricken contributed significantly to a study on clinical bereavement interventions and presented research at the Gerontological Society of America. Ricken has also worked as a clinical research associate during the COVID-19 pandemic, led therapeutic programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and engaged in advocacy for childhood cancer through The Truth 365. Ricken's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
