Chase Spurlock

Co-Founder & CEO at Decode Health

Chase Spurlock is the Co-Founder and CEO of Decode Health, a research organization developing the next generation of blood-based, RNA genomic tests to detect and monitor autoimmune disease. Prior to Decode Health, Chase was the CEO and Co-Founder of IQuity Labs, Inc., where they built an intellectual property portfolio focused on detecting and monitoring autoimmune disease. Chase has also served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Chase received NIH/SBIR grant funding to advance IQuity's patent and technology portfolio. Chase has commercialized three genomic tests for multiple sclerosis, IBS versus Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis, and fibromyalgia syndrome.

Chase Spurlock has a Ph.D. in Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Chase also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors and a minor in Religion from The University of the South. Chase is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
