Melanie Yong

Melanie Yong has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Melanie is currently working at decube as the Head of Product since August 2023. Prior to that, they worked at decube as a Product Owner from September 2022 to August 2023. Before joining decube, Melanie worked at StoreHub as a Business Process Specialist & Project Manager from September 2021 to September 2022. Their responsibilities included facilitating the migration of a Customer Support tool, deploying automation rules, and managing vendor relationships. Melanie also has experience at Sibelco Group, where they worked as a Continuous Improvement Engineer / Regional Change Agent from October 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they led continuous improvement programs across multiple sites in Asia and conducted regular reviews and performance dialogues. Melanie also worked as a Graduate Change Agent at Sibelco Group from October 2018 to September 2019.

Melanie Yong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Taylor's University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2018. Melanie further pursued their education in Manufacturing Engineering through the Principles of Manufacturing MicroMasters Program at MITx Courses from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Agile Scrum Master from CCSD COUNCIL and Python Essentials from edX, both in 2022. In 2020, they also completed the Management in Engineering: Strategy and Leadership course offered by MITx on edX.
