Benjamin Alexander Genest has extensive experience in turfgrass management across several prestigious golf clubs. Currently serving as the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Dedham Country & Polo Club since March 2022, Benjamin previously held the position of First Assistant Superintendent at Menlo Country Club from July 2018 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Pasatiempo Golf Club, where duties involved overseeing a team and maintaining optimal golf course conditions. Benjamin's internship roles at Essex County Club and Oakmont Country Club provided further expertise in managing maintenance operations and achieving championship-level playing conditions. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Turf and Turfgrass Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an Associate's degree from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture, Umass Amherst.

Dedham Country and Polo Club, founded in 1887 and located in Dedham, Massachusetts, cultivates a family environment where the rich heritage provides a timeless experience for friends and families to come together in community and enjoy shared values. The Club’s members engage in sport and social offerings on the 167 acres of rolling rural terrain. The recently restored Seth Raynor golf course, the only one in Massachusetts, is central to the Club which also features four indoor and four outdoor clay tennis courts, four paddle courts, trap shooting facilities, a pool, ice skating, and the clubhouse which is the heart of the Club.
