Phillip Rockwell

Phillip Rockwell is a skilled engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, obtained in May 2017. Currently serving as an R&D Engineer (OEM) at Dee Zee, Inc. since January 2022, Phillip previously held the position of Research & Development Engineer at Summit Products | Black River by Summit from January 2019 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes a role as Maintenance Supervisor at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from August 2017 to October 2018, and as a Transit Operator at CyRide from December 2014 to August 2017. Phillip also contributed as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Manufacturing Laboratory (ME 324L) at Iowa State University in late 2016 and gained hands-on technical experience as a Quality Engineer Intern at Dee Zee, Inc. in the summer of 2016 and as a General Technician at Tires Plus Total Car Care from August 2012 to November 2014.
