María Paula

María Paula is currently an Operations Intern at Deel. María has previously worked as an Enterprise Account Manager at WeWork from August 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Business Development Manager at Off Bound Adventures SAS from November 2018 to August 2019. Before that, they were a Key Account Manager at Leal from January 2017 to October 2018. In this role, they designed, implemented, and executed the commercial strategy, led the achievement of new businesses for Leal Points, designed and implemented a weekly schedule of visits, attended and satisfied customers interested through the website, email, office visit and/or social networks until they were registered as customers. María also led commercial visits to new customers, prepared necessary materials for visits, and contributed to other topics including business strategy, product development, legal and administrative capital raising. Prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment and Selection Coordinator at Enseña por Colombia from August 2014 to October 2016. María also completed a practicum at Enseña por Colombia from January 2013 to September 2013.

María Paula has a degree in Political Science from the Universidad de Los Andes, where they also took courses in Economics and María'story. María also has a certification from Harvard Business School Online in Leadership principles.

María Paula reports to Dan Westgarth, COO. They are on a team with Margarita Wallace - People Operations Manager, Rui Chaves - Director of Customer Experience, and Chloe Bouaziz - Biz Ops and Strategy.
