Shannon Karaka

Shannon Karaka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and business development across various sectors. Currently serving as Country Leader AUNZ at Deel, Shannon oversees go-to-market strategies, sales, marketing, PR, compliance, product localization, and scaling strategies for SMB, MM, and ENT in Australia and New Zealand. Shannon is also an investor at Smart Doctor, a health tech company focused on improving digital healthcare access in LATAM, and a member of the Tech Council of Australia. Previously, Shannon held roles at WeWork in Enterprise Solutions, founded Get Happy Co, worked as a TV personality at Warner Bros. Entertainment, and contributed to Salesforce and Google in business development and sales capacities. Shannon’s education includes a Bachelor of Business in Finance and Economics from the University of Technology Sydney.
