Moe Ibrahim has an extensive work experience in the business industry. In 1996, they started their career at Lazard as a Vice President in the IT department, later transferring to the distressed debt group. In 1999, they moved to Singapore to establish Lazard's Asian distressed debt business and ran this operation for several years. In 2002, they founded 3 Degrees Asset Management and launched their first fund, The Asian Debt Fund, in January 2004. At their peak, assets under management were well above US$500 million. In 2005, they acquired PT Bintan Lagoon Resort and revitalized the brand, refreshed the property through extensive renovation and established a direct ferry service to Singapore. In 2007, they founded Mozaic Hotels & Resorts, which was the sales and marketing arm of Bintan Lagoon Resort. Moe also established a ferry business (Mozaic Ferry Lines) which connected the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal in Singapore with the Bintan Lagoon Ferry Terminal in Bintan, Indonesia. In 2012, they established Journeyful in response to a major problem faced by hotels around the world. In 2017, they became the Founder and CEO of Deelish Brands, a restaurant management company, and the Managing Director of The Mozaic, an investment holding company.

Moe Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from Siena College which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Moe also holds certifications from LinkedIn, IDCA - International Data Center Authority, and IDCA - International Data Center Authority, which they obtained in 2022, 2018, and 2018, respectively. Additionally, they hold an OPM53 from Harvard Business School which they obtained between 2017 and 2019.
