Damiano Taurino serves as the Head of Advanced Air Mobility at Deep Blue S.r.l. since January 2010, managing various National and European R&D projects, including Horizon2020 and FP7 initiatives. Additionally, Damiano is a lecturer at EUROCONTROL, focusing on RPAS Regulation and Liabilities in Air Traffic Management. Previous roles include Quality and Safety Manager at EuroUSC Italia™, where consultancy was provided in compliance with ENAC, and a scholarship at ONERA for integrating civil drones into Air Traffic Management. Prior experience also includes software engineering at Duel SpA and internship work at ENEA. Damiano holds a PhD in Telematics and Information Society from Università degli Studi di Firenze and a Laurea Magistrale in Informatica from Sapienza Università di Roma.

A LONG HISTORY Founded in 2001, Deep Blue has gained an international reputation thanks to its extensive high-quality contribution in the field of aviation and air traffic control. We are the first SME company for number of projects in safety and aviation under H2020. Deep Blue served the European Commission, Eurocontrol and SESAR Joint Undertaking, among other EU bodies. MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM Deep Blue employs about 30 professionals with competencies in engineering, computer science, psychology, sociology, communication, interaction design, web design, mathematics, and business administration.
