Phil Evans

Phil Evans has extensive work experience in business intelligence and finance. Phil started their career as a Business Services Accountant at Cornerstone Partners, where they were responsible for tax planning, financial statement preparation, and processing tax returns. Phil then joined Flight Centre Travel Group as a Management Accountant/Internal Auditor, where they managed financial and operational leadership communications, conducted budgeting and variance analysis, and provided support for decision-making. Phil also served as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Flight Centre, where they automated processes, designed reports, and collaborated with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Phil is currently employed at Deep Blue Company as a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Phil Evans has a strong educational background in the fields of data science and accounting. Phil completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from Curtin University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Following this, they pursued further education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting between 2012 and 2013. Recently, starting from 2022, Phil Evans has been enrolled at RMIT University, working towards a Master's degree in Data Science, with an expected completion date in 2026.
