Jerome Basa

Jerome Basa has a diverse work experience, starting from their current role as a DevOps/SRE Manager at Deep Sentinel, which they began in June 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior DevOps Engineer from July 2020 to June 2022 at the same company.

Before joining Deep Sentinel, Jerome worked at Banjo as a DevOps Engineer from July 2017 to February 2020, where they played a key role in bringing new features and services into production. Jerome also had the responsibility of managing the AWS infrastructure. Additionally, Jerome held the position of Platform Engineer at Banjo from May 2014 to June 2017.

Jerome's career journey also includes experience at HP, where they worked as a Research Engineer from January 2011 to June 2013. During this time, they built a REST API that integrated with the in-house version control system and developed a web application prototype for managing and publishing mobile applications.

Prior to HP, Jerome served as a Software Engineer at Yahoo! from February 2008 to January 2011. Jerome'sresponsibilities included building REST APIs, implementing application integrations, and overseeing the migration of user blog photos and CSS to a new platform.

Furthermore, Jerome held roles as a Software Developer at AdTag Services Pte Ltd from October 2007 to February 2008, as a Senior Programmer at Auction.PH Corporation from March 2006 to July 2007, as a Lead Programmer at MSR/Swizzle-It from January 2002 to February 2006, and as a Junior Programmer at JC Software Corp from September 2000 to December 2001.

Jerome Basa obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Holy Angel University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In 2006, they earned the Zend Certified Engineer certification from Zend. Later, in June 2020, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
