Marc de Vinck has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marc started their career as the Director of Product Development at Make:, where they developed electronic products and helped other companies grow their market. Marc later became a Professor at Lehigh University, where they co-developed a Master of Engineering program and taught in the graduate program for over 9 years.
In 2018, Marc founded Unexpected Labs, a product design and business development company focused on solving real problems using innovative technologies. Marc then joined FLX Solutions, Inc. as an Advisor, synthesizing customer needs and insights and managing complex roadmaps in the robotic inspection industry.
Currently, Marc is the Head of Product at Deep Sentinel, where they lead the product team. Throughout their career, they have also been involved in various advisory roles, including being a member of the Advisory Council at the New York Hall of Science Innovation Institute and organizing the Lehigh Valley Maker Faire.
Marc de Vinck has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Product Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they obtained between 1990 and 1994. Marc also holds a Global Certificate in Project Management (GCPM) from Boston University. In addition to their formal education, Marc has obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn in May 2020.
