Jay Underwood

Jay is a founding partner of Deep Valley Labs. Previously, Jay held multiple roles at Infinera ranging from International Sales to Product Planning and Software Development. He is currently the Head of Global OEM Partnerships at QuantumScape, where he works directly with the world’s largest automotive companies on the electrification of the drivetrain. Jay advises DVL proto-startups on the strategic application of technology to solve big problems. He was a President’s Scholar at Georgia Tech, earned a BS in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary and received an MS in Music Technology from the University of Limerick. He enjoys exploring the outdoors (mostly by going uphill), and trying to do impactful things with great people.
