Kathleen Cowles

Kathleen Cowles is currently a partner at Deep Water Point, where they specialize in emerging technology and innovation. Kathleen has over 25 years of experience in marketing and management, having previously worked for Lucent Technologies and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Kathleen has been instrumental in the success of many marketing campaigns and initiatives. At Lucent Technologies, they managed the government marketing program and was responsible for creating and designing programs that built relationships and industry thought leadership for the company. During their 18-month assignment in Proposal Management, they contributed directly to over 50 million dollars in new business.

At Digital Equipment Corporation, Kathleen designed, delivered, and managed the launch of a new country marketing program in support of 5 divisions. The program included advertising, trade shows, customer events, communications materials, and sales support literature. Under their management, the program saw revenue growth from $4 million to $30 million. In addition, they managed four annual trade shows by creating award-winning exhibits that combined vendors, products, visuals, conference and eating areas with exciting themes and booth enticements such as game shows, video-walls, multi-media presentations and virtual reality demonstrations.

Kathleen's experience and success in marketing makes their a valuable asset to Deep Water Point. Kathleen is always looking for new ways to innovate and create successful marketing campaigns.

Kathleen Cowles studied education at the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science. Kathleen then attended Walter Johnson High School.
