Michael Dougherty

Michael Dougherty has extensive experience in immigration and border policy, having served as the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman and Assistant Secretary for Border, Immigration and Trade Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Previously, they worked as a Legislative Counsel for U.S. Senator Jon Kyl and held multiple roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, including Attorney Advisor and Trial Attorney. Currently, Dougherty is the Executive Director of the Homeland Security Technology Consortium and serves as a Director at Deep Water Point & Associates. They are pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
