Simon Donegan

Simon Donegan is a seasoned metallurgist with extensive experience in the extractive metallurgy industry. Currently serving as Principal Metallurgist at BDB Process since February 2017, Simon provides process development and project implementation expertise. Additionally, Simon holds the position of Principal Process Engineer at Deep Yellow Limited, focusing on the Tumas and Mulga Rock uranium projects. Previous roles include Process Manager at Sunrise Energy Metals, where Simon managed the design for a nickel-cobalt project, and Commissioning Engineer at BHP, contributing to a nickel sulfate refinery. With earlier positions at Paladin Energy Ltd, AMEC, Minara Resources, Tati Nickel Mining Co, BHP Billiton, and Bulong Nickel, Simon has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in areas such as hydrometallurgy, process design, and commissioning across various metals. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Extractive Metallurgy from the Western Australian School of Mines.
