Kat Gilbert

Kat Gilbert, an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), is currently serving as a People Operations Advisor at DEEP since September 2024. Prior to this role, Kat gained extensive experience at Vestd from February 2022 to September 2024, holding various positions including People Advisor, Personal Assistant to the CEO, and HR Coordinator. Additional experience includes working as a Press & Public Affairs Officer at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, a Residential Support Worker with the Falkland Islands Government, and a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Essar. Early career roles included translation work at DURRANTS PRESS CUTTINGS LIMITED and the World Trade Organization. Kat holds a Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management from CIPD, a Master’s degree in Interpreting and Translation from the University of Bath, a Bachelor's degree in Modern European Languages from Durham University, and an Executive PA Diploma from Pitman Training Group.
