Ajay Kanfade

Ajay Kanfade has a strong background in procurement and management roles within the power industry. Ajay is currently working as a Senior Manager Procurement/Catagory Lead at Deepak Group Co since July 2022. Before this, they served as a Manager at Tata Projects from May 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Deputy Manager - Techno-Commercial/Purchase at Adani Power from April 2011 to April 2021, where they were responsible for procurement of goods and tools for thermal power projects. Ajay started their career as an Engineer - Purchase at BGR Energy Systems, where they were involved in procuring materials for cooling towers in thermal power projects and also handled vendor approvals.

Ajay Kanfade completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University from 2004 to 2008. Ajay then pursued a Postgraduate Degree in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, between 2019 and 2021. Prior to their university education, they completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) from New English High School from 2000 to 2002.
