Jay Leverett

Jay Leverett is an experienced AI Technical Advisor currently at DeepCast, starting in February 2024. Previously, Leverett served as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta from August 2021 to June 2022, where key contributions included leading the integration of AI.Reverie's machine learning codebase into Meta's infrastructure and working on computer vision features for Meta's VR headsets. At AI.Reverie, from September 2018 until the acquisition by Meta, Leverett was the first ML engineer, significantly scaling the machine learning codebase and team. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Data Scientist at FarmLink and Thinknear by Telenav, and as an Associate at Goldman Sachs. Jay Leverett holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and dual bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Georgia.
