Mahyar Salek

Mahyar Salek is a seasoned technology leader with a proven track record in AI and product management. As CTO and Co-Founder of Deepcell, Inc. since October 2017, Mahyar has spearheaded the development of an AI-powered imaging and cell sorting platform aimed at enhancing translational research and diagnostics. Prior to this, Mahyar served as Lead Product Manager at Google, where significant contributions were made to the Google Store Visits product, transforming it into a multi-billion-dollar initiative. Mahyar's entrepreneurial spirit was evident as CEO and Co-Founder of Emotiful, an innovative mobile app leveraging AI in imaging, which achieved prominent rankings. Academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, a mini MBA from the University of Cambridge, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
