Charles Rettig

Charles Rettig is a prominent tax attorney and expert with over 35 years of experience in tax controversy matters and litigation, currently serving as a shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka since March 2024. Rettig's distinguished career includes past roles as Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service from October 2018 to November 2022, where responsibilities included managing an agency of over 80,000 employees and a substantial budget. In addition to legal practice, Rettig holds advisory positions at multiple organizations, including as a board member for CAT Labs, Deep Cognition, Optifino, and K1X, Inc., and serves as a senior advisor for 22nd Century Technologies Inc.
