Cheuksan Wang has been working in the software engineering field since 2001. Cheuksan began their career at ITA Software by Google as a Software Engineer. In 2007, they joined Google as a Software Engineer and worked on several teams including YouTube, Travel, Android, and Project Fi. At YouTube, they mainly worked on front-end features on the web site. In the Travel team, they worked on hotel search features on Google search, as well as hotel search backend features. In 2017, they co-founded Deepen AI and is currently overseeing all technical aspects of the company. Cheuksan is responsible for developing technical strategy, recruiting engineering candidates, and solving hard technical problems. The company is working on computer vision using deep learning, including image classification, image matching, video semantic segmentation, as well as optimizing deep learning frameworks for mobile devices.

Cheuksan Wang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University between 1990 and 1993. Cheuksan then went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1993 and 1995. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1996 and 1999.
