Youness Rtimi

Youness Rtimi is the Co-Founder and CTO of Deeper Pulse, a company established in January 2021 that focuses on utilizing physics-based platforms to design high-performance electric motors and space electric thrusters through the emulation of Maxwell equations and advanced optimization techniques. Prior to this role, Youness worked as a Post-doc at Laboratoire plasma et conversion d'énergie (Laplace) from October 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included testing a magnetically shielded Hall-effect thruster and designing thrusters for Safran Aircraft Engines. As a Ph.D. student at Laplace, innovative designs for Hall-effect thrusters were developed using topology optimization methods. Earlier experience includes internships at Moving Magnet Technologies and Laplace, focusing on magnetization characterization and analytical modeling, respectively. Youness holds an Engineer's degree in Electrical and Scientific Computing Engineering from ENSEEIHT and a Master's degree in Operational Research Engineering from ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile.
