Richard Kerschner has had a long and successful career in the financial industry. Richard is currently a board advisor at Deeper Signals, and has previously held positions at DirectBooks, Rise, and DrumG Technologies. At Rise, they were a mentor for Barclays/Techstars Accelerator, and was responsible for leading the corporate development function for the global settlement bank of the FX industry. Richard was also a key member of the management team that transformed CLS and its commercial, governance, strategic, operating and risk frameworks in order to meet the regulatory qualifications of a systemically important financial market utility (SIFMU) under Dodd-Frank. Regularly represented CLS before its Oversight Committee of 22 central banks.
At DrumG Technologies, they were an observer on the board, and was acquired by Symphony in June 2021. Cloud9, which was acquired by Symphony, was a growth stage company offering a cloud communications platform revolutionizing the way financial services firms use, capture and analyze voice communications. Investors included JP Morgan, Barclays, CME Group, UBS, and Point72.
Kerschner has also served as a senior advisor at Elixirr.
Richard Kerschner attended the University of Pennsylvania for their Bachelor's degree. Richard then went on to Georgetown University Law Center for their Doctor of Law degree. Finally, they completed a Certificate in Investment Banking from NYU School of Professional Studies.
