Ehab El-Ali has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in information security and engineering. Ehab is currently the Director of Information Security at Deepgram since 2021. Previously, they worked at Verato as the Principal Information Security & Compliance Engineer from 2018 to 2020, where they played a key role in implementing security measures, conducting audits, and addressing customer concerns. Before that, they served as a Systems Engineer at Promontory Interfinancial Network from 2014 to 2017, where they gained experience in infrastructure-as-code, agile methodologies, and managing virtual machines across multiple data centers. Ehab also worked as a Systems Engineer at American Institutes for Research from 2012 to 2014, focusing on scalability and implementing solutions on a larger scale. Prior to that, they were an IT Analyst at BusinessOnLine from 2008 to 2012, where they gained hands-on experience in technology research, cloud migration, and Linux systems. Their career began as a Systems Administrator at PPC from 2006 to 2008, where they learned valuable lessons in the real-world professional environment.

Ehab El-Ali completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Security and Network Administration, along with a Minor in Business, at George Mason University from 2001 to 2005. In 2008, Ehab obtained a Certified Ethical Hacker Certification from EC Council.
