Cristian Ferretti

Cristian Ferretti is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience across multiple high-profile tech companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Deephaven Data Labs since September 2019, Cristian focuses on developing a next-generation query engine for streaming data. Prior to this, Cristian held a Senior Software Engineer position at Dropbox, contributing to the Magic Pocket team and exploring advanced storage solutions. Cristian’s career includes a role as Technical Lead/Manager at Google, where management of the Lock Service team was undertaken, and experience as a Software Generalist at Walleye Trading, where significant contributions were made to a large trading system. Previous roles also include Infrastructure Team Leader at Automated Trading Desk, Technical Lead at Motorola, and adjunct professor at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Cristian holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Computer Science and Business from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
