Yun da Tsai

Yun-Da Tsai is a highly experienced research scientist currently working at Meta since July 2025, focusing on Llama Code Post-Training and Software Engineering (SWE) Agents research. Prior to this role, Yun-Da served as a visiting scholar in the UCLA NLP Group in early 2025 and worked at NVIDIA from August 2023 to June 2025 on RTL Code LLM and Hardware Engineering (HWE) Agents research. Yun-Da began a career as a data scientist at Appier from February 2020 to July 2023. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from National Taiwan University, completed in May 2025, and both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institution.
